Just placed my order!

Are these killer? or what! This is the 2nd set of "Wide 5" alloy wheels fabbed up then powdercoated by talented dude named Mark in Denver. He was kind enough to accept a request from me to build five more- in a different color scheme. I intend to enjoy them on my haul'r; going to roll with these custom wheels in place of a Fuch set that's on the VW single cab now

The 1st set (tested and proven under autocross racing conditions) is very similar to this set; polished finish rather powdercoated. Those wheels are on a 356 outlaw creation that Mark collaborated on.

haul'r moves to sunny south florida!

this gem was delivered new to her 1st owner in 1965 - has enjoyed service in neveda for the past 44yrs.
before leaving vegas george t. (look for him competing a rally prepped vintage vw bus! in "bullrun" which will air next month on speed) updated this single cab for me & rudder at his http://www.thewagenshop.com/ facility.
rudder & i plan to fun around with it here on the east coast. this rascal will be haul'n motorbikes- and a 125cc shifter cart to/from the track ... carrying fixed gear bicyles to/from the velodrome ... piggy backin' mountain bikes to state parks ... yeah, we're gunna have sum fun with this transporter!

nose "redeux" on double door panel

the nose was "cracked" during delivery to previous owner- his transport driver failed to tied the bus down properly inside the transport trailer...

i decided to have it fixed ...

upon removal of paint/filler material an "oilcan" situation revealed itself. decided to have metal "re-worked"

primer has been applied/wetsanded (allowing proper curing between applications) a couple times now to build up a "base"...

"anthracite" color will be re-sprayed in coming days ~
